  • 3 c. applesauce
  • 4 c. flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 1 small bottle maraschino cherries
  • dates (optional)

Directions

    Pour into 3 pans and bake at 325° for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
