  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. applesauce
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 c. nuts

Directions

    Cream butter, sugar and eggs together until fluffy.

    Sift dry ingredients.

    Add raisins and nuts.

    Add alternately with applesauce to the butter and sugar mixture.

    Mix thoroughly and turn into well-buttered pan and bake.
