  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 lb. dried apples, cooked as directed on pkg.
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/3 lb. raisins
  • 1 c. nuts

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Sift together flour, soda, cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg. Add alternately with cooked apples using juice with apples. Gently fold in raisins and nuts. Cook in tube pan at 250° for 2 hours.
