Applesauce Pecan Pie

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup dark corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Directions

    Combine butter, sugar and cinnamon. Add syrup, applesauce, pecans and eggs. Blend well. Pour into pie shell. Bake in 400° oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 325° and continue baking for 25-30 minutes more. Cool before cutting.
