  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 3 eggs, well beaten
  • 3/4 c. dark syrup
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. applesauce
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. pecans
  • unbaked pie shell

Directions

    Cream sugar and butter.

    Add eggs, syrup, vanilla, applesauce and pecans.

    Pour into pie crust.

    Bake at 350° for 60 to 70 minutes.

    This is very good and not so sweet.
