- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. dry quick oats
- 3/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 c. apricot preserves or jam
- 1 Tbsp. water
Directions

1Combine the flour, baking powder, brown sugar and oats; cut in butter.

2Pat 2/3 of mixture into an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan. Spread with preserves, mixed with water.

3Cover with remaining crumbs.

4Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

5Cool and cut into bars.
