- 1 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. quick cooking rolled oats
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 3/4 c. butter or margarine
- 3/4 c. commercial apricot preserves or jam
Directions

1Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.

2Stir in rolled oats and sugar.

3Cut in butter until crumbly.

4Put 2/3 of crumb mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan.

5Spread with preserves; cover with remaining crumb mixture.

6Bake at 375° for about 35 minutes or until browned.

7Cool; cut in bars or squares.
