- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. quick cooking rolled oats
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 3/4 c. butter or margarine
- 3/4 c. apricot jam or preserves
Directions

1Mix together flour, baking powder and salt; stir in rolled oats and sugar.

2Cut in butter until crumbly.

3Pat 2/3 of crumb mixture in 11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch pan.

4Spread with preserves.

5Cover with remaining crumb mixture.

6Bake in oven at 375°

7about 35 minutes or until browned.

8Cool.

9Cut in bars or squares.

10Makes about 2 1/2 dozen (3 x 1-inch) bars, or about 6 dozen (1-inch) squares.
