- 3/4 c. margarine
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 1/2 c. quick cooking oats (uncooked)
- 1 (10 oz.) jar apricot preserves
Directions

1Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy.

2Combine flour, soda and oats; add to creamed mixture. Press half of the crumb mixture into the bottom of a cookie sheet. Spread preserves over pressed crumb mixture. Sprinkle remainder of crumb mixture over preserves.

3Bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.

4Yield: approximately 4 dozen.
