  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1 c. apricot or peach preserves
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Sift flour, soda and salt in a large mixing bowl.
