- 3/4 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 4 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 jar apricot jam
Directions

1Cream butter, sugar and eggs.

2Add dry ingredients.

3Roll 1/8-inch thick on floured board.

4Cut into 2 1/2-inch rounds.

5Cut hole in center of 1/2 of rounds.

6Place round on cookie sheet. Top with filling, almost to the edge.

7Place round with hole in center on jam.

8Press edges together.

9Bake at 400° for 10 to 12 minutes.

10Makes approximately 4 dozen.
