  • 8 oz. cream-style cottage cheese
  • 1/2 lb. margarine
  • 2 c. flour
  • apricot preserves (for filling)
  • 1 beaten egg white
  • 1 c. finely chopped walnuts, mixed with 1/3 c. sugar

Directions

    Combine cottage cheese, margarine and flour.

    Make little balls and refrigerate overnight.

    Roll out each ball.

    Put 1 teaspoon apricot preserves on one half of rolled out dough and fold over.

    Dip filled foldover in beaten egg white and then in walnut-sugar mixture.

    Bake on greased cookie sheet at 375° for 15 to 18 minutes.
