  • 6 ounces dried apricots
  • 12 cup water
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, cubed and softened
  • 12 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

    Soak apricots in 1/2 cup water overnight; drain, reserving 2 tablespoons of the liquid.

    Place apricots and 2 tablespoons reserved liquid into food processor or blender.

    Process for about 10 seconds.

    Add cream cheese and process just until blended.

    Add walnuts and blend until mixed.

    Store spread in the refrigerator.
