  • vanilla wafers, crumbled
  • 1 large can apricots
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • chopped nuts
  • whipped cream

Directions

    Cover bottom of a 9 x 12-inch cake pan or 2 pie pans with vanilla wafer crumbs.

    Melt oleo and sugar in a double boiler. Using a mixer, beat in eggs.

    Cook about 10 minutes.

    Cool slightly.

    Pour over wafer crumbs.

    Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Cool.

    Place drained apricot halves over top.

    Blanket with whipped cream.

    Sprinkle top with more vanilla wafer crumbs.
