- 1 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. quick oats
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 3/4 c. butter or margarine
- jam (apricot, raspberry, strawberry, etc.)
Directions

1Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.

2Mix in oats and brown sugar.

3Cut in 3/4 cup butter or margarine as for pie crust. Divide in half.

4Put a little over half in 9 x 13-inch pan.

5Pat gently.

6Cover with jam (apricot, raspberry, strawberry, etc.). Cover with remaining crumbs.

7Pat gently.

8Bake at 375° for 35 minutes.

9Cool completely before cutting.
