- 6 lean pork chops
- 6 Tbsp. raw rice
- 1 large onion
- 3 c. hot water
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 green pepper
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 3 tsp. salt
Directions

1Sear pork chops on both sides in a hot frying pan; then remove to a casserole dish.

2On each pork chop place 1 tablespoon of rice, a slice of onion, a slice of tomato (or the equivalent in stewed tomatoes) and 2 strips of green peppers.

3Sprinkle with pepper and salt.

4Add the hot water, cover and bake 3 to 4 hours in a 350° oven.
