  • 1 pound sausage I used breakfast sausage
  • 5 jalapenos
  • 1 block cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup cheddar
  • 2 slices bacon fried and crumbled

Directions

    Cut the tops off the peppers and remove the seeds and core. Mix cream cheese, cheddar, and bacon crumbles. Stuff the peppers with the cheese mixture, then wrap the stuffed peppers in sausage.

    Place on a wire rack with a cookie sheet underneath. My husband smoked these on his smoker at 250 for an 1 1/2 hours, but they can be done in the oven. 325 for roughly 45 minutes. Super tasty, either way!
