  • 1/2 lb. grated Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 lb. Jimmy Dean sausage (hot)
  • 1 1/2 c. Bisquick
  • 15 mild, medium jalapeno peppers
  • 15 small strips Jack cheese

Directions

    Mix sausage, grated cheese and Bisquick mix.

    Knead until mix stays together; set aside.

    Split peppers and remove seeds.
  4. 4
    Stuff a piece of cheese into each half.

    Pinch a little sausage mix and flatten.

    Wrap the pepper inside flat sausage; mix and shape into egg shapes.

    Bake on cookie sheet at 325° for 25 minutes.
