- 4 strips bacon, chopped
- 1 can beef consomme
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 can water
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 c. raw regular rice
Directions

1Fry bacon pieces.

2Add butter; saute onion pieces until golden brown.

3Add rice; saute 3 minutes.

4Put in a 2-quart casserole dish.

5Add consomme and water.

6Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour. Serves 6 to 8.
