  • 1 (8 oz.) can artichoke hearts (packed in water), drained
  • 1 (6 oz.) jar artichoke hearts (packed in oil), drained
  • 1 (4 oz.) can diced green chili peppers
  • 6 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 to 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Chop artichoke hearts together and spread in well-greased Pyrex pie plate.

    Scatter chili peppers and spread mayonnaise over artichoke hearts.

    Sprinkle with cheese.

    Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 15 minutes; 25 minutes if prepared ahead and refrigerated.

    (Do not use the microwave oven; the cheese does not melt nicely.)

    Serve with tortilla chips.
