Artichoke Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 large can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. grated Cheddar cheese (sharp)
  • 6 oz. cream cheese, cubed
  • 5 spring onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 1 pkg. sliced almonds (optional)
  • 1 large round bread (sourdough or Hawaiian)
  • bagel crisps

Directions

    Melt butter and saute onions and garlic.

    In a large bowl, combine the 2 cheeses, sour cream and artichoke hearts.

    Add butter mixture.

    Scoop out bread (can toast part scooped out). Pour mixture into middle of bread.

    Top with almonds.

    Wrap foil around bread edges so it won't burn.

    Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours or until bubbly.

    Serve with bagel chips.
