Artichoke Torte

Ingredients

  • 2 jars marinated artichoke hearts, cut into small pieces (reserve the oil from the hearts)
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, mashed
  • 1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 4 eggs, well beaten
  • 1/4 c. fresh parsley, minced
  • 1/2 c. soda crackers, crumbled

Directions

    Saute onions and garlic in 3 tablespoons of the reserved artichoke hearts oil.

    Mix artichoke hearts, grated cheese, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce and eggs together.

    Add onions and garlic.

    Put into greased square 9-inch cake pan.

    Sprinkle with the crumbled soda crackers.

    Bake for 35 minutes at 325°. Chill for 2 hours before cutting.
