- 2 1/2 cups biscuit mix
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup shredded asiago cheese
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 egg beaten with 1 tsp water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°F.

2Combine all ingredients except for egg and sugar in large bowl.

3Stir until moistened, mixture will be thick.

4Pile mixture into eight small mounds onto a non-stick cookie sheet.

5Brush scones with egg wash and sprinkle with sugar.

6Bake for 12-15 minutes until light golden brown.
