Asparagus Bake

Ingredients
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups sliced fresh asparagus
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 tablespoon flour
- salt and pepper
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup grated swiss cheese
- 14 cup cracker crumb
Directions

1Melt 2 tbsps butter in a large skillet.

2Saute aspargus 2-3 minutes or until just tender.

3Remove and reserve.

4In the same skillet, saute onion in 2 tbsps butter until soft and transparent.

5Stir in flour, salt and pepper.

6Cook 1 minute or until flour is well blended.

7Add sour cream and cheese.
-
8Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until cheese melts.

9Butter (or spray) a 1 quart baking dish.

10Place asparagus into the prepared dish and top with the cheese and sour cream mixture.

11Sprinkle with cracker crumbs.

12dot with remaining 1 Tbsp of butter.

13Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

14Can be place under a broiler for final 2 minutes to brown top.
