- 1 small can asparagus
- 1 c. mushroom soup
- 4 hard-cooked eggs
- 3/4 lb. American cheese
- 12 salty crackers
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Cut cheese into small cubes.

2Chop eggs.

3Crumble 3 crackers into bottom of a buttered casserole.

4Over the crumbs put a layer of cheese, a layer of eggs, a layer of asparagus and a little mushroom soup.

5Dot with butter but do not salt.

6Alternate layers until all ingredients are used.

7Add milk and 3 teaspoons asparagus liquid.

8Sprinkle extra crackers on top.

9Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes.
