  • 1 large can asparagus, drained
  • 2 c. saltine crackers, crushed
  • 1/2 c. margarine, melted
  • 1/2 lb. grated sharp cheese
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts (almonds, pecans, walnuts)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 boiled eggs, chopped (optional)

Directions

    Mix margarine with crackers.

    Make 2 layers in a greased Pyrex dish (8 1/2 x 8 1/2-inch) of asparagus, soup, nuts, cheese and crackers.

    Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
