Asparagus-Cheese Canapes

- 1 egg
- 1 (4 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 (4 oz.) pkg. Blue cheese
- 1 loaf sandwich bread
- 1 can asparagus stalks, drained
- melted margarine
Directions

1Blend egg with cream cheese and Blue cheese.

2Trim crust from bread slices; roll each slice lightly with a rolling pin.

3Spread with cheese mixture.

4Cut asparagus stalks length of bread; place on edge of bread.

5Roll as for jelly roll; brush with margarine. Place in covered plastic container and freeze.

6Remove from freezer; cut each roll crosswise in 1 1/2-inch lengths.

7Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 325° for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.

8Serve hot.
