Asparagus Ham Roll-Ups

- 1 lb. asparagus spears, cooked
- 8 thin sliced boiled ham
- 2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- pepper to taste
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Place 3 to 4 spears of asparagus on each ham slice.

2Roll up and secure with toothpick. Melt butter in heavy saucepan.

3Stir in flour and seasonings.

4Cook until pasty.

5Add milk and stir until thickened.

6Add cheese and heat until cheese melts.

7Place ham rolls in baking dish.

8Pour cheese sauce over top.

9Bake at 350° for about 20 to 30 minutes.
