- 12 slices white bread, crust removed
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese in container already whipped
- 2 Tbsp. chopped chives
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 24 asparagus spears
- 1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
- Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice of bread.

2Combine whipped cream cheese, chives and bacon, stirring well.

3Spread bread with cheese mixture, covering edges.

4Place 2 asparagus spears on each slice of bread.

5Roll up and place seam side down on a greased cookie baking sheet.

6Melt butter and brush each roll with butter.

7Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and crushed bacon. Cook at 350° until brown.

8Fasten edges of bread good with cream cheese mixture.

9You may wish to use toothpicks to hold bread closed.
