- 2 (8 oz.) softened cream cheese
- 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix, finely crushed
- 1 loaf sandwich bread
- 2 cans asparagus spears
- 1 stick butter
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. parsley
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
Directions

1Mix cream cheese with onion soup.

2Cut crusts off bread and flatten with rolling pin, then keep moist under a damp towel. Spread bread slice with cream cheese mixture.

3Place asparagus spear at one end and roll up.

4Cut into three pieces and place, seam side down, on cookie sheet.

5Melt butter and add onion powder, parsley and paprika.

6Brush this mixture over tops of rolls.

7Bake at 400°

8for 10 to 15 minutes, until slightly brown.
