  • 1 loaf sandwich bread
  • 1/3 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/4 c. melted butter
  • 54 cooked asparagus spears
  • 1 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Remove crust from bread slices. Flatten bread with rolling pin.

    Spread each slice with mayonnaise. Sprinkle with cheese. Place 2 or more asparagus spears on each slice.

    Bring opposite corners of slice together.

    Fasten with pick.

    Brush with butter. Place on baking sheet and bake at 375° for 20 to 30 minutes. Makes 15 servings.
