- oleomargarine
- bacon, fried and broken (optional)
- toast
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
Directions

1Drain the liquid from the can of asparagus and mix with 1 teaspoon of cornstarch.

2Place asparagus in saucepan with liquid mixture and heat until hot and slightly thickened.

3Place scoop of asparagus mixture on the toast with bacon bits and small dot of oleomargarine.

4Place under broiler until oleomargarine melts.
