  • 4 pork chops
  • 2 Tbsp. Wesson oil
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. uncooked regular rice
  • 1/4 c. diced celery
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans Hunt's tomato sauce with onion
  • 1/2 tsp. basil

Directions

    In large skillet, brown pork chops in hot oil at 375°.

    Remove chops; add celery and cook lightly.

    Drain fat.

    Stir in remaining ingredients; add chops.

    Bring to boil.

    Simmer covered for 30 minutes.
