Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 None onion, finely chopped
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
  • 1 None egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce, plus additional, to serve
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 None hamburger rolls, toasted
  • None None Lettuce leaves, sliced plum tomatoes, sliced beets, cheese slices, tomato chutney, to serve

Directions

    Heat 1 tsp of the olive oil in a small skillet on medium heat. Saute onion 3 mins, until tender. Combine onion with ground beef, parsley, egg, tomato sauce and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl; season and mix well. Shape into 4 patties.

    Heat a grill pan or large skillet on high heat. Brush with remaining oil. Cook patties 3-4 mins each side, until cooked through.

    Serve burgers on rolls with lettuce, tomatoes, beets, cheese, chutney and additional tomato sauce.
