Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • 1 None egg, lightly beaten
  • 4 None burger buns, halved, toasted
  • 1/3 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 4 slices cheese
  • 4 large slices pickled beets
  • 4 None canned pineapple rings
  • 2 None tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 4 None eggs, fried
  • 1 None red onion, thinly sliced

Directions

    Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, parsley and beaten egg in a large bowl. Season to taste. Shape mixture into 4 patties. Place on a plate. Cover and refrigerate for 15 mins until firm.

    Preheat the grill to medium. Grill burgers for 3-5 mins on each side or until cooked through.

    Spread one side of each burger bun with barbecue sauce. Top with lettuce, burger, cheese, beets, pineapple, tomato, fried egg and red onion. Top with remaining half of bun.
