- 8 oz. elbow macaroni
- 1 c. canned stewed tomatoes, drained
- 1 c. tomato sauce
- 1 clove garlic, mashed
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 3/4 lb. ground beef
- 3/4 c. cooked peas
- salt to taste
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Cook macaroni in boiling, salted water until tender, about 7 minutes.

2Drain and mix with tomatoes and tomato sauce in large bowl.

3Saute garlic clove in olive oil over medium heat until it begins to brown.

4Remove clove from oil and cook meat, stirring to keep loose.

5Add meat to macaroni mixture.

6Stir in peas and grated cheese.

7Makes 4 servings.
