Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 lb. lean, boneless beef, pork or chicken
  • flour
  • water
  • 1/2 bell pepper strips
  • 3/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, chopped

Directions

    Roll meat in flour and place in stock pot filled with 1/4-inch water.

    Brown meat and cook on low heat for about 30 minutes.

    Then roll up and heat to high and add remaining ingredients.

    Cook 1 hour longer until meat is shredding.

    Serve in flour tortillas and garnish with lettuce and picante sauce.
