Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 c. chopped onion
  • 6 c. water
  • 2 c. cut up carrots
  • 2 c. diced celery
  • 2 c. cubed, pared potatoes
  • 4 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 tsp. parsley
  • 2 (28 oz.) cans tomatoes

Directions

    In a large saucepan, cook and stir meat until brown.

    Drain off fat.

    Cook and stir onion with meat for 5 minutes.

    Stir in remaining ingredients; heat to boiling.

    Cover; simmer for 20 minutes.
