Bacon and Egg Sauce

  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 md. onion, chopped
  • 1 can (10-3/4 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 5 eggs, hard-boiled and sliced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

    Fry, drain and crumble bacon.

    Reserve 2 tbsp.

    drippings.

    Add soup and milk and stir well.

    Gently stir in eggs and cheese and adjust seasoning.

    Spoon into 9-inch square baking pan.

    Top with crumbled bacon.

    Bake at 350F for 20 minutes.

    Serve on toast or English muffins.
