Bacon Broccoli Quiche

  • 1 (9 inch) frozen deep dish pie shell
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 10 ounces frozen chopped broccoli, cooked and drained
  • 13 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup milk or 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 12 cup canned bacon bits
  • 12 cup cheddar cheese, grated
  • 14 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

    Brush pie crust with some of beaten eggs and prick crust with fork.

    Bake 12 minutes.

    Meanwhile, in large bowl, combine eggs and the remaining ingredients, stirring until blended.

    Remove pie shell from oven; Reduce heat to 350 degrees.

    Pour broccoli mixture into pie shell.

    Bake about 40 minutes until firm in center.
