  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 c. Cheddar or Swiss cheese, grated
  • 1 lb. crisply cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 roll thin party pumpernickel or rye

Directions

    Heat oven to 400°.

    Mix mayo, cheese and bacon together; spread on bread.

    Put in oven for 4 minutes, until bubbly and hot. Spread may be made ahead and kept on bottom shelf of refrigerator.

    Bacon must be very crisp.
