Bacon-Cheese Bread

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 4 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 4 green onions, chopped (use tops)
  • 2 Tbsp. poppy seed
  • Kraft sliced Swiss cheese
  • 15 to 20 slices raw bacon

Directions

    Peel all crust off of the French bread.

    Cut bread into 8 or 10 thick slices diagonally.

    In a saucepan, melt 4 tablespoons margarine and add mustard, onions and poppy seed.

    Spoon mixture between slices.

    Place 1 slice of cheese between each bread piece. Drizzle 2 tablespoons melted margarine over loaf.

    Arrange 1 to 2 slices bacon over each piece.

    Bake on greased foil at 375° for 20 to 30 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
