- 1/2 lb. bacon
- 3/4 c. vinegar
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 6 c. finely shredded cabbage
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Dice bacon and cook slowly until crisp.

2Pour off half the drippings.

3Add other ingredients to remaining drippings and heat for 3 minutes, stirring constantly, until cabbage is hot and well coated with sauce.

4Add salt and pepper to taste.

5Cabbage should be crisp.

6Drain off liquid before serving.
