- 4 slices bacon
- 1 (3 to 4 lb.) chuck roast
- lemon pepper marinade
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can golden mushroom soup (undiluted)
- 1/2 c. chopped dill pickle
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Directions

1Fry bacon in large Dutch oven until crisp.

2Crumble bacon and set aside.

3Sprinkle roast with lemon pepper marinade.

4Brown roast on all sides in hot bacon drippings.

5Combine remaining ingredients; mix well.

6Pour mixture over roast.

7Cover and simmer 2 1/2 to 3 hours, or until roast is tender.

8Remove roast to warm platter; sprinkle with bacon.

9Serve roast with pan drippings. Serves 8.
