Bacon Potato Chowder

  • more slices of bacon, cut into pieces
  • 2 cups 1/2 inch cubed potatoes
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1-1/4 cup milk
  • 1 can (10 oz.) condensed cream of chicken
  • mushroom soup
  • 1 can (8 oz.) whole kernel corn
  • use frozen corn
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper and salt
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme leaves (optional)

Directions

    In 3 Quart saucepan cook bacon over medium heat for 5 minutes or put in the microwave.

    Cook potatoes stirring occasionally until potatoes are tender 15-20 minutes.

    Cut into cubes.

    Add all ingredients into crock pot and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 5-6 hours.
