- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/2 c. packaged herb-seasoned stuffing
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/4 lb. hot or mild sausage
- 1/2 to 2/3 lb. sliced bacon
Directions

1Melt butter in water.

2Remove from heat; stir into stuffing. Add egg and sausage.

3Blend thoroughly.

4Chill 1 hour, then shape into small balls.

5Cut bacon strips into thirds, crosswise; wrap one piece around dressing mixture and fasten with toothpick. Place on rack in shallow pan and bake at 375° for 35 minutes or until brown and crisp, turning at 1/2 point.

6Drain on paper towel. Serve hot.
