  • 2/3 c. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine

    Bring to boil over low heat.

    Wrap 1/2 bacon slice around a water chestnut and secure with toothpick.

    Bake bacon wrapped chestnut at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes until done.

    Use broiler pan to catch bacon drippings.
