- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/2 c. herb-seasoned stuffing
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/4 lb. mild or hot sausage
- 1/2 to 3/4 lb. sliced bacon
Directions

1Melt butter in water in saucepan.

2Add to stuffing, mixing well.

3Add egg and sausage and blend thoroughly.

4Chill for 1 hour for easier handling, then shape into small oblongs about the size of a pecan log.

5Cut bacon slices into thirds.

6Wrap each piece of the stuffing mixture with bacon and fasten with toothpicks.
