Bacon Roll-Ups

- 16 slices bacon, cut in half
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
- 1 (10 ounce) package pita bread rounds
Directions

1Preheat your oven's broiler (I put mine on low broil and my oven rack was in the middle of my gas stove).

2Open pita rounds, and spread generously with cream cheese.

3I spread to the thickness we liked - you might use more or less of the amount listed.

4Replace tops, and use a pizza cutter to slice into 1 inch wide strips.

5Cut the long strips in half crosswise.

6Roll up each piece, and wrap with half of a strip of bacon.

7Secure with toothpicks and place close together on a baking sheet.

8Broil for 10 minutes in oven or until the bacon is cooked through.

9Use spatula to remove them to a napkin lined bowl or platter.

10Remove toothpicks before serving.
