Ingredients

  • bacon slices
  • pineapple chunks or water chestnuts
  • small bottle catsup
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • Tabasco, if desired

Directions

    Cut bacon slices in half; wrap around pineapple chunks or water chestnuts.

    Broil long enough to get fat out, but not crisp. Broil far from broiler flame. Watch closely and turn.

    Pour off fat.

    Combine rest of ingredients and pour over wrap arounds. Bake at 300° with sauce on for about 30 minutes.
